Loads of movies...

Ok, let me start of by saying that I will be writing this blog in english. I know that most of my readers will be buddies from Sweden, but the web is an international thing and I like to practice my english!

Anyways, these last two days leisure time has been mostly about movies, so I´d like to take the opportunity to recommend some...

Yesterday I saw "Don´t look now", a ghost story by the director of "Performance" and "The man who fell to earth" - Nicolas Roeg. Very nice, seventies style and lots of dreamy scenes from Venice.

Today I saw "Faust" by Jan Svankmajer, a czech animator and surrealist. It takes on the classical myth, but twists it around by merging the "real" world of a tired actor and the part he plays. It involves a lot of clay figures and living mannequins. Not really scary, but very visual. And lost but not the least, on TV right now "Zabriskie Point", a sixties movie by Antonioni. Anarchists fighting, lone desperados and lots of music by hippie artists like Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead.

Well, that´s it, my first real post on this blog. I will post an introduction about myself soon and perhaps a real subject for the site.

Can´t agree with you more, Indy. Watch out for scary girls in red clothing... I really liked the surreal cutting in the film - and watch "Peformance" if you haven´t seen it!!!
